Igor's Website - Old and outdated website

Science, stories, art and music (outdated).

This is the old version of the site, which hasn't been maintained for many an eon. If you're here because you were looking for some of my old work, then cool, but beware, some really nasty stuff may lurk here. There's plenty of cool things I posted here while I was a student, but I basically abandoned the maintenance of the site from about 2012. So, this old site in no way represents my ongoing work and state of being. If you just want to browse around, then go for it. :)

If you don't want to go through the collective works of an undergraduate student, I suggest you go back to my main website.

Keep in mind that some links might not work here and the listed products have long been without technical support.

About me

My Photo

My name is Igor Ševo (Eng. Igor Sevo). I'm a 32 year-old male born on 26 September 1990. I live in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is where I have finished Gimnazija Banja Luka high school. I’m a computer engineer graduated and received master's degree from in Banja Luka where I'm currently employed and attent the PhD studies, but my interests also include music, art and writing. I have extensive knowledge of C#, C/C++, Python, Java (and many other) programming languages, and I have participated as a team lead for the international competitions in informatics.

Apart from that, I have written over fifty compositions for orchestra and strings. I am also interested in art, mainly in pencil drawing. Some of this art (including music) is presented on this site.

I was also a member of Mensa (am no longer, since I don't like paying for membership), with an estimated IQ of over 156, which is the highest score achievable on that test (however, the deviation of the Mensa scale should be considered). I won the first place in the state/republic physics and informatics competitions and had represented Bosnia and Herzegovina on the International Physics Olympiad in Vietnam (2008). Besides that, I was one of the team leaders for the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) 2012. Also, I won two silver medals at the Inost (inovators display) for two software applications.

You can contact me at igor@igorsevo.com. Materials on this site are mostly copyrighted, but if you need any, you can send me an e-mail. My Google+ profile is available in the footer.

Computer engineering

As a computer science student I do offshore programming.

My skills include:

  • Machine learning and artificial intelligence (Tensorflow, Caffe, CNTK)
  • UWP app design and logic
  • Website design and logic (ASP.NET, PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap)
  • Database modeling and construction (MSSQL, MySQL)
  • Parallel computing (OpenMP, CUDA, OpenCL, .NET paralelization)
  • Algorithmic problem solving; algorithms and data structures
  • Game programming (Unity, Unreal Engine)

In the footer of all pages on this website, you can find my LinkedIn, Google Scholar and ResearchGate profiles, where my publications and business information is available.

To see the list of currently available software products I have written, go to Products page.

Custom music composing and arrangement

Besides being in science, I compose music for orchestra and strings (as I've mentioned above). I compose music mostly as a hobby, but I do compositions by order. Some of these compositions might be considered to be of neoclassical or contemporary nature. I do film and trailer music as well as arrangements for songs and solo compositions. The pricing depends on the nature of the composition/arrangement I am doing. You can contact me at igor@igorsevo.com.

Some of my compositions can be heard on the Music page. Sheets are available for some of them. Music available on this website is copyrighted. It is available here for audition purposes. If you wish to use it, you can contact me via e-mail.

About the site

Programming tasks

If you're a student and like programming challenges, you can find some tasks in the Student Resources section.

This is where I upload my drawings, music and stories. Some of my philosophy is available on this site under the Stories and Art links. Keep in mind that some of the stories are in Serbian language and are quite outdated.

For products and content you wish to download or purchase, you can visit my Products page or the Resources page.

I've mentioned that I compose music and do arrangements thereof, so I upload some of this music to this site. This music is available on the Music page. This is where you can hear some of my compositions and download sheets for some of them.

Also, there are some programming competition tasks and solutions on this site. Some of the tasks are in Serbian language, but the solutions might be useful.

As for the algorithms, most of the development I do at home, but might include source code on this site. Some of the material I published as a student is still available on this site and you can check it out on the Science page.

A blog is also included on this site. The link for the blog is available in the menu. I've also included an RSS Feed which is updated with blog entries. The blog is available in both English and Serbian languages. The feed is available in both languages on the Blog page.

If you wish to have something that interests you explained in an article or a video, you can suggest an article or ask a question on the Questions page.

Articles about me, written elsewhere, and links to my articles written elsewhere, can be found on the Links page.

A sitemap is available. It lists all links available on the site in a XML format compliant with the Schema.org guidelines.

My free and commercial products are now available on the Products page.
